Our Services
Pick-up and Delivery
Simply email, call or fax us to request pickup or delivery. We have standard two pickup/delivery times each day, 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM, to ensure that your documents get transported within one half business day of your request. With a rush delivery to downtown Seattle, we will deliver your documents within one hour or less. We also do third party deliveries. Contact us for details.
Indexing
Each box stored in our facilities is entered into our database. Using client provided information such as box number and/or description, we are able to quickly locate and provide information regarding the status of every item in storage. Inventory reports are provided at no cost. All client material is recorded for receipt, delivery and return for tracking purposes.
If requested, files within a box are indexed with a separate database entry for each file. This greatly facilitates locating a file upon request. Inventory reports for indexed files are provided at no cost and the individual files are tracked in the same manner as boxes.
Through meticulous, close attention to detail, we are able to provide your business with quick, accurate services.
Tracking
At The File Box, Inc. we track the activity of both boxes and files allowing us to record when client documents are received, delivered, and returned.
Interfiling
Individual documents may be interfiled with previously archived records.
Destruction and Removal
Due to the unique retention schedules of various industries, we can include a client specified destruction date on the tracking records by which we can remind you of an upcoming event. We can also arrange for recycling or shredding of those documents. Unlike many records companies, The File Box does not "hold your documents hostage" by adding additional charges when you decide to destroy or otherwise remove your documents from our care.
